I have over the years work with countless productions specially TV commercials with varied directors, actors and crews world wide.  It wasn't until I started editng scenes that I realized what was missing in all the teachings I experienced in Los Angeles.   I became frustrated as an editor and actor what I was seeing with the other actors performances.  I started writing about what I liked and what I didn't like.  I started analyzing and defining techniques that could help the actors performances and importantly keep them in the edit.

The Film Actor

The Film Actor is not like any other actor.  The disciplines are far different than that of the theater actor.  We build upon solid techniques to enhance our on camera peformance.  Here at FASA

We recognize  32 techniques  which are designed to Reenforce the relationship skills that ultimatley are the most important.

Emotional Scales

The Film Actor searches all areas of  the emotional scale.  Keeping in tune with your inner truth is so important.  There is no one like you.  There is no one who will react to situations like you. There is no one that has your personal experience in life.
The Technical Actor

Actors who learn the technical functions of working for the camera and the peripheral operations of production are the actors who out shine their competition.  Director and producers love an actor who can walk on set and know exactly what to do.  He has no questions.  This type of understanding transferes nerves associated with the unknown to a focused professional  who is an assett to any production.
